BJP declares the upcoming Lok Shabha election in-charges and co-in-charges for 23 states and Union Territories.

On 27th January, Bharatiya Janta Party's President J.P. Nadda with the party's Vice President appointed the upcoming Lok Shabha election in-charges and co-in-charges for 23 states and Union Territories.

Here is a list of the States/Union Territories along with their incharge and co in-charge.

  1. Andaman and Nicobar :  in-charge Satya Kumar
  2. Arunachal Pradesh : in-charge Ashok Singhal
  3. Bihar : in-charge Vinod Tawde along with Co-incharge Deepak Prasad,MP
  4. Chandigarh : in-charge Vijaybhai Rupani, MLA
  5. Daman and Diu : in-charge Purnesh Modi, MLA along with Co-incharge Dushyant Patel
  6. Goa : in-charge Ashish Sood
  7. Haryana : in-charge Biplab Kumar Dev, MP along with Co-incharge Surrendra Singh Nagar,MP
  8. Himachal Pradesh : in-charge Shrikant Sharma, MLA along with Co-incharge Sanjay Tandon
  9. Jammu-Kashmir : in-charge Tarun Chugh along with Co-incharge Ashish Sood
  10. Jharkhand : in-charge Laxmikant Bajpayee, MP
  11. Karnataka : in-charge Radha Mohan Das Agarwal, MP

Amit Shah postpones his scheduled meetings and visits

Bharatiya Janta Party is all set with its preparations for the upcoming Lok Shabha Polls. On 28th January, Amit Shah was to attend three important meetings regarding the Lok Sabha polls. The BJP party had planned to start their preparations in Telangana.

His day was scheduled, election management committee meeting of Mahabubnagar Lok Shabha constituency at 1:30 PM, booth committee meeting in Karimnagar at 4 PM, followed by a convention of professionals of Secunderabad constituency at 5PM at Hyderabad and he was scheduled to address a public gathering at Mecheda in Purba Medinipur district on afternoon of 29th January but his visit has been postponed due to some urgent work at hand.
 

BJP President J.P. Nadda recently while addressing BJP workers and leaders after inaugurating the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha Constituency office in Thaltej area of Ahmedabad said that the Congress and I.N.D.I.A bloc parties are not concerned about the welfare of castes, but are interested only in securing votes in the name of caste census. J.P. Nadda virtually inaugurated similar offices for the rest 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Gujarat from the stage.

The Kerala Congress Joseph group seeks to participate in the upcoming Lok Shabha elections from Kottayam. This demand was put forward during a bilateral meeting with the Congress party, where they formally presented their desire to participate in the Lok Shabha elections from Kottayam to the United Democratic Front (UDF). Any decision on this matter will be taken only after the return of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President K Sudhakaran.
