Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal released from Tihar Jail on interim bail

After receiving bail in the Delhi Liquor Policy case from the Supreme Court, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal left Tihar Jail. The Chief Minister, who was detained for over fifty days, is set to be released.

"The Tihar prison administration has got the release order of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He'll be out soon," the jail administration declared. Before the chief minister is released from Tihar Jail, security was increased outside the jail. The Supreme Court granted him temporary bail in the Delhi excise policy case, valid till June 1. Though plans were formed at Tihar Gate No. 3, Kejriwal was freed from Gate No. 4 and preceded to Gate No. 3 to address his supporters. The Supreme Court granted interim bail to the Aam Aadmi Party convener in anticipation of the Lok Sabha election.

Kejriwal's interim bail was approved by the Supreme Court at 2:00 p.m. Once the order arrived at the jail, it was reviewed by the officials there, and Kejriwal was eventually freed when all the procedures were finished. As per the terms of Kejriwal's release, he is not allowed to attend the Chief Minister's office or the Secretariat, fulfill any chief ministerial duties, or return to jail on June 2. The Delhi CM is required by court order to provide bail bonds of Rs 50,000 and one surety of the same amount, subject to the Jail Superintendent's satisfaction. He shall not visit the Delhi Secretariat or the Chief Minister's Office. "He shall be bound by the statement made on his behalf that he shall not sign official files unless it is required and necessary for obtaining clearance or approval from the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi," the order stated.

Arvind Kejriwal declared, "Desh ko tanashahi se bachana hai," in his first public statement

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal declared, "Desh ko tanashahi se bachana hai," in his first public statement after being released from jail on Friday night.

CM Kejriwal declared, "I want to worship Hanumanji," asking for the blessings of Lord Hanuman and expressing his appreciation to his followers. I am free today due of his mercies. All of you have my gratitude. I would want to ask everyone a favor. The state in which I live is not well. "Desh ko tanashahi se bachana hai. Main kaafi pehle se lad raha hoon. Ab bas 140 crore logon ko ladna hai." He also disclosed that a news conference will be held by the party on Saturday at 1:00 PM.

In Delhi, where the Congress and AAP have united to overthrow the powerful BJP, Kejriwal's absence was more noticeable than in Punjab, where the AAP has a well-liked senior leader in Bhagwant Mann spearheading the party's election campaign. The unstable partnership between the AAP and the Congress began to falter under the weight of stark contrasts following Kejriwal's incarceration. Many prominent members of Congress have resigned, citing issues with the poll alliance as their reason.
