Spiritual leader Sadhguru recovering from skull hemorrhage

Due to intestinal hemorrhage, spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev underwent brain surgery. Soon after his arrival, a group of physicians from Delhi's Apollo Hospital conducted emergency brain surgery to treat the skull hemorrhage. An "extremely severe headache" was the primary reason for the surgery.

Sadhguru overwhelmed by Prime Minister Modi's concern

"Spoke to @Sadhguru Ji and wished him good health and a speedy recovery," Prime Minister Modi tweeted on Wednesday.

In an official statement, Isha Foundation said, "Sadhguru has been recovering well and making steady progress. His parameters are normal and stable."

Sadhguru shared on his official X account, "Doctors discovered that for the last four weeks, Sadhguru had been ignoring a severe headache and giving himself relentlessly to his grueling schedule, which included Mahashivratri. On 15th March, an MRI showed massive bleeding in the brain. However, Sadhguru refused to cancel his commitments including his session at India Today Conclave which he attended under the effect of powerful painkillers and sedation."

The tweet further read, "On 17th morning, Sadhguru had to be rushed to hospital where it was discovered that he had life threatening swelling in the brain. After going through an emergency surgery on 17th, Sadhguru is now making steady progress and is recovering extremely well."

Neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri of Apollo Hospital said “We were joking with him that we have done what we could but you are healing yourself. The kind of improvement we are seeing is beyond our expectation. He is now extremely well. All his brain, body and vital parameters are normal and he is making a steady progress.”

Kangana, who often tweets pictures of her travels to the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore and her meetings with Sadhguru, reflected on the transient aspect of Sadhguru's life. She wrote, "Today when I saw Sadhguru ji lying on the ICU bed, I was suddenly struck by the realization that he is bones, blood, and flesh just like us." Kangana continued, expressing her profound emotional response to the situation, "I felt God has collapsed, I felt the earth has shifted, the sky has abandoned me. I feel my head spinning, unable to make sense of this reality, and choose not to believe it. But then suddenly I break down. Today, millions of people (devotees) share my grief. I want to share my pain with you all. I am not able to contain it. He better be fine or the sun won’t rise, the earth won’t move. This moment hangs lifeless and still…"
